The Weasel Center Shelter for Old and Abandoned Computers

There are many old computers surrounding us. What has traditionally been a booming, constantly evolving market, has left hundreds of millions of devices "no longer useful" in daily life, resigned to e-waste centers or landfills. I have amassed a collection of these from people who no longer needed them. I give them names. I give them things to do. I make them work where they once did not.

Table of Contents

  1. x86-compatibles - 1990s
  2. x86-compatibles - 2000s
  3. x86-compatibles - 2010s-Present
  4. Apple computers

A disclaimer about my Norse-inspired naming scheme

The majority of computers on this page, if they have ever been in "active service" in my stable, have received names inspired from figures and artifacts of Norse mythology. Because of the modern environment in which we exist, I wish to leave a disclaimer here that, yes, I am aware of the connection between the old Nordic myths and modern neo-Nazi viewpoints. It is important that I tell you that I utterly, completely reject all such viewpoints. I simply have a passing interest in the old Norse stories. If you are in any way associated with modern Nazis or otherwise buy into their rhetoric, then I am sorry, there is nothing here for you and I want nothing to do with you. (While I am at it, trans rights are human rights, and stop the genocide.)
